Academic Scholar – Hospitalist, Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor, Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine

The Department of Pediatrics in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo (UB) and Golisano Children’s Hospital (GCH) is actively recruiting for a full‑time BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist. The candidate will provide inpatient care for pediatric patients at GCH and share coverage at the Pediatric Long Term Care facility at HighPointe on Michigan. After‑hours call is shared with other faculty members and taken from home, with in‑house Pediatric Intensivists providing immediate assessment and management of acute critical needs.

Faculty duties include:

• Education and supervision of pediatric residents and medical students from Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences
• Participation in conferences and curriculum development
• Engagement in scholarly and quality improvement initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Pediatrics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM)

Physical Demands: routinely handle physically demanding inpatient duties and respond to urgent clinical needs.
