Physiatrist – Suffolk

Job Overview Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Northwell Health and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine is seeking a BC/BE Cancer Rehabilitation fellowship trained Physiatrist to join our outpatient team in Suffolk County.

This position will have a focus on management of patients with cancer in an outpatient setting. Management will include pain, various neurologic and musculoskeletal impairments secondary to cancer treatments, fatigue, orthotics/bracing along with prescribing additional services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapies, nutrition, and counseling services.

• Join a team of over thirty Board Certified PM&R physicians.
• Play a key role in conjunction with the Northwell Cancer Institute.
• The Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency program is comprised of twelve residents. In addition, medical students at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine all rotate through PM&R.
• Collaborative research opportunities are present at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research.

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors including physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
