Pediatric Neurologist

Overview

PAGNY is adding a Pediatric Neurologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health features the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital with emergency services, labor and delivery, and surgical services. The Health and Wellness Institute offers outpatient services across primary, preventive, and specialty care for children and adults. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine.

• Evaluate and diagnose neurological disorders in pediatric patients.
• Develop and manage treatment plans tailored to each patient, including medications, therapy, or surgical referrals.
• Provide ongoing management of chronic neurological conditions.
• Collaborate with other pediatric specialists, rehabilitation therapists, and social workers.
• Educate families on disease management, treatment options, and long term care.
• Contribute to teaching and training of residents and medical students.

• Active NY State medical license
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Neurology

• Annual base salary: 242,000 USD (Board Eligible); 252,000 USD (Board Certified) based on a 40 hour work week. Additional compensation for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
• Estimated annual total compensation package: 361,720 USD (Board Eligible) and 372,720 USD (Board Certified), including base salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors.
• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours per week: 55,520 USD.
• Projected bonus up to 40,000 USD, contingent on quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) company contribution with 3% immediately vested; after one year, 7% additional company contribution.
• Annual CME reimbursement; generous paid time off; medical, prescription, and dental coverage; life and AD and D coverage up to 2x salary (up to 300,000 USD) at no cost; optional voluntary life and AD and D coverage for dependents.
• Loan forgiveness eligibility through state or federal programs; malpractice coverage; FSAs for healthcare and dependent care; pre-tax commuting deductions.
