We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist to support the Veteran community in the Brooklyn, NY area. This position is open to all candidates, including Locum or Traveling professionals.
Position Highlights- Logistics:
- Pay: $357.00+ / hour
- Contract Length: 1 base year with 4 1-year option periods
- Schedule: Full-time – Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with On Call Hours.
- Location: Brooklyn, NY
- Requirements:
- Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Board Certified per the American Board of Radiology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
- Previous experience with the VA is a plus.

Estimated 95% of the time is involved in direct patient care. Contractor’s physician(s) shall be responsible for providing Interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to:
- Angiography
- Cry oblation
- Balloon angioplasty/stent placement
- Line insertion
- Chemoembolization
- IVC filters
- Cholecystostomy
- Vertebroplasty
- Drain insertions
- Nephrostomy placement
- Embolization
- Radio logically inserted gastrostomy
- Thrombolysis
- Dialysis access & related interventions
- Biopsy
- TIPS placement
- Radio frequency ablation
- Biliary intervention
Estimated 5% of the time involved in administrative duties.
Qualifications- Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Board Certified per the American Board of Radiology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
- Previous experience with the VA is a plus.
- If selected, candidates will need to complete credentialing and onboarding requirements consistent with VA medical staff processes.
