OverviewThe Arthur Smith Institute for Urology at Northwell Health is seeking a physician leader for the position of Chief, Urology at Northern Westchester Hospital. Responsibilities and tasks of the role include:
- Working with the chair on all matters related to clinical operations
- Ensure high quality patient care through development and standardization of care processes and protocols
- Continue to develop a culture of scholarship in quality improvement, health equity and outcomes
- Ensure the productivity of physician faculty and support staff
- Maintain and improve upon the excellence within the department
- M.D.Degreeorequivalentfrom an accredited
Collegeof Medicine - Completionofresidency and fellowship with
Board
Certificationor eligibility - Currentlylicensedasaphysicianinthe Stateof New York
- Outstandingcommunicationandmanagement skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, hospital management, and staff
- Previous division, department, or program leadership
- Specialized training in Robotics, Female Pelvic or Uro-Oncology.
