Young, Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and Zucker Hillside Hospital (ZHH) and SVP for Behavioral Health at Northwell, and Dr. Consuelo Cagande, Director, Division of Child & Adolescent Pscyhiatry, Zucker Hillside Hospital and Professor, Department of Psychiatry at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, invite applications and nominations for the position of Child & Adolescent Fellowship Program Director at Zucker Hillside Hospital.
We are seeking applicants with a passion for education, including teaching and learning, mentoring, curriculum and assessment development, and administration, dedicated to Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. This full-time position will be split between the Fellowship Program Director role and clinical work aligned with the candidate's experience and interest. Applicants should have experience working within an academic department with ACGME training in General and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
The Fellowship Program Director will report internally to the Division Director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (DCAP), and externally to relevant ACGME contacts. The role, depending in part on the experience and interests of the applicant, will include, among other responsibilities, faculty oversight and evaluation; fellow recruitment, oversight and evaluation; oversight of the clinical and didactic curricula; program assessment and ACGME reporting.
The Child & Adolescent Division is looking for a proactive and engaged colleague, with strong communication skills, a desire to innovate, and an ambition to lead the nation in the most effective ways of training the next generation of Child & Adolescent psychiatrists.
