Orthopedic Joint Surgeon

Northwell Orthopedics is seeking a BE/BC fellowship-trained Orthopedic Joint Surgeon to join their clinical team in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY. This role involves surgical work at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills, a 312-bed community teaching hospital with advanced certification in total joint replacement. The successful candidate will contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on improving patient quality of life and function.

Practice Info

• Surgical work will be based at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills (LIJFH) in Queens, NY.
• LIJFH is a 312-bed community teaching hospital.
• The Orthopedic Department holds an advanced certification in total joint replacement from the Joint Commission.
• Orthopedic clinicians are part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Team partners with anesthesiologists, nurses, radiologists, and rehabilitation specialists.

Compensation

• Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and Joint fellowship
• BE/BC in Orthopedic Surgery
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York
