The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a physician with subspecialty training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery ( URPS ) to join our team at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo (UB), SUNY . Our partners include Kaleida Health and Erie County Medical Center. UB is a top-tier academic institution, situated across 3 campuses, with faculty engaged in transformational patient care, education, and medical research.
The successful applicant will be BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology and have completed a formal fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery ( URPS ).
In this position you will be expected to:
- possess excellent clinical skills,
- provide the highest quality of patient care
- demonstrate capability, interest, and enthusiasm for teaching medical students and training residents.
Our residency has 36 categorical positions, 9 at each year, and Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences has about 200 medical students per year. Our goal is to augment our current Division of URPS . Involvement in clinical research is encouraged, and there are many opportunities for interdisciplinary research within the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and the larger University at Buffalo community.
