Psychiatrist - Outpatient

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Outpatient Psychiatrist to its team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health, East New York. The position is based in GOTHAM

• Provide direct care to patients referred to the Substance Use Disorders (SUD) outpatient team, including medication management, timely care, and comprehensive documentation.
• Complete psychiatric admission assessments and risk assessments for new intakes and re‑assessments.
• Document treatment plans in accordance with policy and patient risk level; collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to review and approve plans.
• Develop clinical partnerships and referrals within the system and to other Gotham sites.
• Provide supervisory oversight to clinical team members, including Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Psychologists.
• Participate in collaborative case conferences, team meetings, and high‑risk patient committees to review quality of care and guide best practices.
• Provide late evening and weekend coverage as part of the standard scheduling rotation.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• Active New York State Medical License.

Annual base salary is $267,900
* for board eligible and $278,200
* for board certified physicians, based on a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation is available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The estimated annual total value of the compensation package is $398,690** (board eligible) and $410,020** (board certified), including baseline salary, 401(k) contributions, sessional/per diem hours, and other benefits.

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours per week is $104,000***.
