- Obtain patient histories and relevant clinical information from records and referring physicians.
- Perform and interpret imaging procedures, including General Radiography, MRI, CT, mammography, DEXA, and ultrasound.
- Administer contrast agents and radiopaque substances (by injection,orally) to render internal structures visible on x-ray films and fluoroscopic screens, recognizing and treating procedure-related complications.
- Communicate results and counsel patients on procedures, risks, benefits, and alternatives.
- Confer with medical professionals regarding image-based diagnoses and coordinate radiology services with other medical activities.
- Maintain quality control of images and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology
- Active or eligible for a New York State medical license
Annual Base Salary: $468,750* (board eligible); $494,500* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $504,750** (board eligible) and $530,500** (board certified),which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employeesareimmediatelyvested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- Afterone year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
