This Level 1 Trauma Hospital located in the Bronx, NY provides a broad range of inpatient clinical services and supports a comprehensive interventional radiology program. The facility maintains established protocols and the infrastructure necessary to accommodate locum tenens clinicians delivering on-site interventional radiology coverage. Clinical operations are supported by residents, fellows, and other physicians.

The Bronx is a borough recognized as the birthplace of hip-hop and salsa, and is home to landmarks such as Yankee Stadium, the Bronx Zoo, and the New York Botanical Garden. The borough features a vibrant arts and cultural scene, including a thriving music presence, street art, and the historic Art Deco architecture of the Grand Concourse. Clinicians on assignment may also explore Arthur Avenue's Little Italy, Wave Hill's garden grounds with Hudson River views, and Edgar Allan Poe Cottage, which preserves the legacy of a noted literary figure.

Clinicians will provide 100% on-site inpatient interventional radiology coverage during day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on a 7 on 7 off schedule, with weeknight call at a 1:3 ratio from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM and weekend call responsibilities. Procedural responsibilities include minimally invasive, image-guided procedures utilizing fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI, as well as pre- and post-procedure consults and emergency IR procedures as needed.

An expected volume of 8-10 procedures per day is anticipated, and clinical documentation is managed through Epic EMR. Board certification is required for this assignment.
