Chief of the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology

New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospita
l. The division offers comprehensive oncology and hematology services to the diverse Brooklyn community while maintaining strong academic affiliations and research initiatives with the Meyer Cancer Center. The Division Chief will oversee comprehensive clinical programs including active subspecialty services in gastrointestinal, genitourinary, thoracic and breast oncology, hematological malignancies (including CAR-T therapy), and non-malignant blood disorders. Responsibilities include strategic planning for division expansion, faculty recruitment and development, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care across all service lines.
We seek a board-certified medical oncologist or hematologist with demonstrated administrative and leadership experience in academic medicine. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operations and clinical investigation, along with a commitment to advancing cancer care in a diverse, underserved patient population. , an ACS-level II trauma center, with 651-beds, academically affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine, cares for residents throughout Brooklyn and the surrounding areas. Our academic programs include nine graduate medical education residency programs and six fellowship programs: including an Internal Medicine Residency Program and a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program.
The salary range for this position is $550k to $650k. This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.
