Physician - Endocrinology | 13-Week Travel Contract – Staten Island, NY

We're seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Endocrinologist for an ongoing locums assignment at a Level I Trauma Center in Staten Island, NY.

Highlights:

• 7-on/7-off schedule with flexible Monday–Monday or Sunday–Sunday rotations
• 100% inpatient consultative practice
• 8 hours of inpatient rounding and consults daily
• Light phone call after hours with very infrequent callbacks
• Immediate credentialing with emergency privileges available
• Ongoing assignment until a permanent provider is hired

Clinical Focus:

• Diabetes management and diabetic keto acidosis (DKA)
• Adrenal crisis
• Thyroid disease and medication titration
• Post-thyroidectomy management
• Endocrine consults for pregnant patients
• Collaborative inpatient consult service

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
• Active New York medical license (IMLC accepted)
• Comfortable managing complex inpatient endocrine consults
