Medley Health, a physiatry and physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R) practice serving senior care facilities, is seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and oversight for our medical services and provider team. The role is responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care while supporting the organization's clinical, operational, and compliance objectives.

The Medical Director will oversee clinical standards and protocols, provider performance, documentation quality, and regulatory and payer compliance, working closely with executive leadership, operations, credentialing, and billing teams to ensure services are delivered appropriately and efficiently.

• $320,000–$380,000 + bonus
• Minimal travel — onsite for new facility onboarding
• Malpractice Insurance:
  Covered by the organization

• MD or DO, board certified in PM&R (or relevant equivalent)
• Active, unrestricted state medical license (NY)
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, ideally with senior care, geriatric, or post-acute populations
• Experience in subacute rehab required
• Prior leadership or medical director experience preferred

• Oversee clinical standards and protocols, provider performance, documentation quality, and regulatory and payer compliance
• Work closely with executive leadership, operations, credentialing, and billing teams to address clinical matters and ensure services are delivered appropriately and efficiently
• Provide ongoing guidance and support to the clinical team, addressing clinical or documentation concerns as needed
• Serve as a clinical resource and point of contact for facility leadership and healthcare partners
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and the development of new clinical programs and service lines

• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, evaluating, and hiring new physicians and advanced practice providers as needed
• Support the onboarding, training, and ongoing development of new and existing providers
• Provide clinical coverage from time to time when necessary, including situations where a scheduled provider is unavailable and alternative coverage cannot be secured

• Be onsite in person to onboard new providers at newly established facilities, helping ensure a smooth introduction to facility leadership, staff, workflows, clinical expectations, and protocols
• Assist with the clinical implementation and launch of services at new facilities and locations
• Help establish appropriate provider coverage, clinical workflows, protocols, and expectations when starting new locations

This is an opportunity to shape the clinical direction of a growing PM&R practice, with direct input into new service lines and facility launches. As part of the leadership team, the Medical Director will have real autonomy in setting clinical standards while working closely with executive leadership to support the organization's continued expansion.
