The Department of Neurology at Mather Hospital is seeking a BC/BE stroke/vascular neurologist to join their multi-disciplinary team in Port Jefferson, NY. This role offers flexible positions combining inpatient, ambulatory, and stroke hospitalist responsibilities within the expanding Northwell Health System. Physicians will benefit from academic opportunities with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Practice Info
- Multi-disciplinary team at Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY
- Combination of inpatient and ambulatory responsibilities as well as stroke hospitalist roles
- Accredited 248-bed, non-profit community teaching hospital
- Academic appointment with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with credentials and experience
- Employed as a member of Northwell Health Physician Partners
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and ambulatory neurological care
- Fulfill stroke hospitalist roles
- Participate in grand rounds, conferences, and case discussions
Compensation
- Commensurate with experience
- Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K
- Competitive salaries with annual incentive compensation bonus
