Neuro-hospitalist

Northwell Health is seeking a dedicated Neuro-hospitalist to join the Department of Neurology at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital in Queens, New York. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule of one week on and one week off with no ambulatory clinical responsibilities. The incoming physician will practice within a 312-bed community teaching hospital equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies.

• Located at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital in Queens, NY
• 312-bed community teaching hospital providing inpatient medical and surgical care, intensive care, and women's health services
• Emergency Department is a 911 receiving site, a certified heart station, and a New York state-designated Stroke Center
• Part of Northwell Health's Institute for Neurology
• Includes an academic appointment at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell

Compensation

• Commensurate with experience

Requirements

• M.D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or foreign program that is similarly appropriately accredited)
• Completion of Neurology residency
• Must be Board Certified
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York
