Montefiore Medical Center's Substance Abuse Treatment Program (SATP) is seeking a full-time Attending Physician who is Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and successfully completed an Addiction Medicine Fellowship to join our team of dedicated addiction treatment professionals. SATP has nearly 50 years of experience providing integrated counseling, medical and psychiatric services to individuals with substance use disorders in the Bronx, NY.

This position offers a competitive salary of $,000, productivity incentives and full benefits including paid malpractice, CME with stipend, 403(b) and 457 tax shelters, health, vision, dental, LTD, STD and much more. The program is also an approved site for the NHSC Substance Use Disorder Workforce Loan Repayment Program, providing up to $75,000 in student loan repayment in exchange for a 3-year service commitment.

• Montefiore Medical Center has a range of outpatient addiction treatment programs that can assist individuals in reaching their goals.
• With a focus on harm reduction and patient-centered care, these comprehensive treatment programs provide medically assisted treatment, including methadone, naltrexone and buprenorphine treatment, as well as group and individual counseling, primary medical and psychiatric care, and vocational and peer services.
• Montefiore’s Opioid Treatment Programs offer methadone and other empirically supported medications to assist individuals struggling with opioid use, while our Intensive Outpatient Programs provide treatment for individuals with a range of substance use disorders, including opiates, alcohol, cocaine, marijuana, benzodiazepines, PCP, methamphetamine and others.
• The successful applicant would provide both primary care and addiction treatment within an Opioid Treatment Program and an Intensive Outpatient Program.
• Opportunities for leadership roles, including medical director, are available, as well as opportunities for teaching and supervising medical students, medical residents and post-doctoral fellows.

• Applicants must possess a valid NY State Medical License and Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine.
