Endocrinologist

The Northwell Department of Medicine, in partnership with Harbor View Medical Services and Mather Hospital, is seeking Endocrinologists to join our growing team in Port Jefferson and Stony Brook, New York. This full-time position offers the opportunity to practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Ideal candidates will have the chance to work with residents and participate as teaching faculty for academic programs.

• Outpatient and inpatient setting
• Harbor View Medical Services, a captive PC of Mather Hospital
• Interdisciplinary team including Nurse Practioners, Physician Assistants and Certified Diabetic Educators
• Mather Hospital, a member of Northwell Health, is an accredited 248-bed, non-profit community teaching hospital

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in a combination of outpatient and inpatient settings
• Work with residents and be part of the teaching faculty for academic programs

Compensation

• Salary:
  Commensurate with Experience
• Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity
• The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future

Requirements

• Preferred Education:
  
  MD/DO
• Ideal candidates will be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
• Strong interest in a combination of outpatient and inpatient setting
