Northwell Health's Department of Neurology is seeking BC/BE Vascular/Stroke Neurologists for full-time opportunities across multiple hospital locations in Long Island, Manhattan, and Westchester. Clinicians will join a nationally recognized stroke program and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within a vast network of stroke centers. This role offers opportunities to engage in academic advancement, research, and training in affiliation with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
Practice Info
- Full-time opportunities are available at Peconic Bay Medical Center (Riverhead), Mather Hospital (Port Jefferson), Lenox Hill Hospital (Manhattan), Northern Westchester Hospital (Westchester), and Phelps Hospital
- Practice within a leading stroke program featuring comprehensive stroke centers, primary stroke centers, and a thrombectomy-capable center
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprised of physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, technicians, and support staff
- Academic affiliation with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and contribute to advances in technology, education, and research
- Engage with a large network of neurologists through grand rounds, conferences, and case discussions
Compensation
- Competitive salaries with annual incentive compensation bonus
- Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity

Requirements
- M.D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or foreign program that is similarly appropriately accredited)
- Completion of Neurology residency and Stroke/Vascular fellowship
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology
- Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York
