Body Imaging Radiologist

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Body Imaging Radiologist at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health

South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. • Interpret a broad range of Body Imaging studies, including Body CT and MRI examinations.
• Interpret general radiology studies, including X-rays, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
• Perform and interpret fluoroscopic examinations.
• Provide consultative support to referring physicians regarding complex Body Imaging cases.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and collaborate with clinical teams on patient care.
• Participate in departmental peer review, radiation safety initiatives, and continuous quality improvement programs.
• Provide teaching and guidance to residents, fellows, and medical imaging technologists, as applicable.
• Participate in departmental clinical coverage and rotating call responsibilities.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
• Completion of a Body Imaging (Abdominal/Cross Sectional Imaging) Fellowship.
• Active New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain.
• Ability and willingness to perform fluoroscopic examinations and participate in General Radiology clinical coverage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with referring physicians, technologists, trainees, and other members of the clinical team.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $520,250
* based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $726,250** (with completion of a Fellowship), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimatedannual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $130,000.
• Projectedbonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.

  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
