Chief, Acute Care Surgery

The Department of Surgery at NYU Langone Health is seeking a dynamic, full-time accomplished, academic surgeon-leader to serve as Chief, Acute Care Surgery at its Manhattan campus. This position provides clinical and administrative leadership for Emergency General Surgery (EGS) and Surgical Critical Care, at one of the nation's leading qua ternary referral centers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical and technical skills, have exceptional outcomes, and take a collaborative approach to patient care.

The selected candidate must be collaborative and be able to interact well with colleagues inside and outside the division.

the Manhattan campus is not a designated trauma center.

• Chief-level leadership position of a dedicated EGS service and Surgical Intensive Care Unit (in partnership with Anesthesiology) at a top-ranked academic medical center
• High-acuity, high-complexity EGS practice drawing on the full subspecialty depth of a qua ternary referral center, without trauma call
