Position Overview:

This is a 100% inpatient position with no outpatient responsibilities, ideal for a neurologist passionate about academic medicine, bedside teaching, and high-acuity neurologic care.
The Neurohospitalist will rotate weekly through several services to provide comprehensive inpatient neurologic care across two campuses:

Moses Campus (~700 bed hospital)   
• Primary Team Inpatient Service  o    Lead a general neurology inpatient team teaching neurology residents  o    Alternatively supervise a PA-supported primary neurology service  
• General Neurology Consult Service  o    Attending-only consult service  o    Resident-based teaching consult service

Weiler Campus (~400 bed hospital)  
• General Neurology Consult Service  o    Collaborative team model with residents and PAsThe Neurohospitalist would not be involved in stroke codes as there is a dedicated stroke consult team/service for this.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications  We are seeking candidates who are:  
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology  
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York  
• Committed to academic medicine and trainee education  
• Comfortable working in diverse care models (resident-led teams and PA-supported services)  
• Skilled in managing high-acuity inpatient neurologic conditions  
• Collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented

Subspecialty training is welcome but not required. Opportunities for subspecialty service time are  addition to a starting competitive base salary of $240,000, we offer productivity incentives, LTD, STD, paid…
