Appropriate resources are in place to support clinicians managing urological cases on-site.

The region offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of cultural and recreational attractions. Notable destinations include the Erie Canal Museum, the Rosamond Gifford Zoo, and the Everson Museum of Art. An 8-mile linear greenway along Onondaga Lake features walking trails, a skatepark, and waterfront amenities, and a 17,500-seat outdoor amphitheater is also available. This locum tenens assignment requires a urologist to provide full scope urological coverage across inpatient, clinic, and operating room settings on a day shift schedule with 24-hour call responsibilities at an on-site facility. Clinicians will manage 30-40 patients per day in the clinic setting, perform rounding, and cover surgical cases in the OR. APPs are available and take first call; the urologist will manage cases escalated beyond APP scope.

Board certification or board eligibility in Urology is required for consideration, and an active NY license or IMLC must be held; the estimated credentialing timeframe is 5-6 weeks.
