Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department Physician

NYU Grossman School of Medicine, an affiliate of Woodhull Medical Center, is currently searching for a Full-Time Emergency Department Physician. NYC Health Hospitals/Woodhull is the hospital of choice for residents of North Brooklyn, including Bushwick, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Bedford Stuyvesant, and Fort Greene providing primary, specialty, and acute care services with an emphasis on disease prevention and health promotion.

The successful candidates will be Board eligible or Board certified in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Our ED treats approximately 90,000 patients annually including a separate Fast Track and Pediatric Emergency Department. A separately staffed and managed Comprehensive Psychiatry Emergency Program is on site. We are well equipped with ultrasound and CT within the ED. Excellent nursing support, specialty backup, and resident rotators exist throughout the department.

The Emergency Department recently completed a multi-million-dollar expansion project to create a state-of-the-art treatment area for patients, and further renovations are planned.

We offer a competitive compensation package and a stimulating work environment, which includes the following: as outlined below:

• Annual Base Salary: is $290,000-$300,000
• 403B/457 participation inclusive of a 10% employer contribution with no employee match required
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement ranging from $3,000 inclusive of one week of paid CME time
• Projected annual revenue sharing payments of up to $30,000 contingent upon meeting required productivity and compliance metrics
