Instructional Coach – Learn It Academic Services

This part‑time position will be located at a Jewish Day School in Queens, NY. You will join an educational team consisting of an Area Manager, Program Supervisor and fellow educators working with a diverse population of K‑8th grade students.

You will play a key role in delivering the highest‑quality services, including professional development and parent workshops related to reading and mathematics instruction and other pertinent topics.

• Develop and edit workshop content based on current educational trends, research, and policy.
• Deliver professional development workshops to teachers and parents, both in person and via webinars.
• Collaborate with program managers, school personnel, and teachers to coordinate workshop delivery.
• Present to small and large groups, encouraging participation and directing activities (average group size ten).
• Provide a high level of customer service to principals, classroom teachers, and parents.

• Presentation experience required.
• Active and valid teaching certificate required.
• Experienced in providing professional development and coaching.
• Experience working with Title I students a plus.
• Flexibility with workshop scheduling, location (weekdays, weekday afternoons, evenings and weekends), and delivery (webinars, coaching, workshops).
• Computer proficiency required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds and frequently stand and raise arms above the head.
• Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer.

Work location typically in school buildings, sometimes requiring the ability to go up and down stairs.
