High School Mathematics Teacher; Leave-Replacement

Saint Mary's High School in Manhasset, New York, is seeking a full time, benefits-eligible Leave‑Replacement Mathematics Teacher to join its Mathematics Department effective immediately through the end of June.

• Teach up to five sections of Mathematics, including Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, and/or related courses.
• Ability to teach AP Calculus, AP Computer Science Principles, and/or AP Statistics is preferred.
• Collaborate effectively with department colleagues and administration to support curricular goals.
• Demonstrate openness to professional feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement in instructional practice.
• Participate in departmental, grade‑level, and school‑wide meetings and professional development initiatives.
• Contribute to the extracurricular and co‑curricular life of the school community.
• Teach and lead students in a manner consistent with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and the mission of Saint Mary's High School.

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field required;
  Master's degree preferred.
• New York State teacher certification, or active progress toward certification, preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to fostering a positive, respectful learning environment.
