Networking Technology Faculty

Description

Bryant & Stratton College's WNY Market is recruiting for instructors to teach the following courses in the Networking Technology program:
Routing & Switching in Networked Environments, Networking with the Windows Operating System, Wireless and WANs in the Enterprise, UNIX/LINUX Operating Systems, Network Design & Implementation, Network Security & Forensic Fundamentals, Hardware & Networking Fundamentals, Software & Operating Systems



Minimum Qualifications

Candidates hired to teach in the Networking Technology Program must possess a Master’s degree in field in addition to appropriate CompTIA certifications relative to course assignment.

Some of the required certifications include Network+ N10-006 (certification date on or after 2/28/15), CompTIA Security+ SY0-401 (certification date on or after 5/1/14), CompTIA A+ 220-901 and 220-902 (certification date on or after 12/15/15)

Essential Position Responsibilities/Functions

Provide instruction with the focus on teaching and learning to help assure students successfully meet all course outcomes and classroom objectives.

Participate in professional development activities that develop and enhance teaching and facilitation skills.

Participate in campus wide initiatives in support of recruitment, retention and graduation goal attainment including but not limited to, monitoring, adjusting (when needed), and assessing classroom program

retention/graduation and meeting with program advisors on a regular basis to discuss student performance and academic concerns.

Fulfill all administrative duties related to instructional responsibility

Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate of the base pay for this position. Information about the total compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.

Adjuncts sign a contract with the Dean at the beginning of each term that outlines the class, contact hours, the dates and time of class. Campus based classes are 15 weeks and are paid bi-monthly over an 8-paycheck time frame. The class salary range is $1,450.00- $1,950.00
