Archery Instructor

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Archery Instructor to lead and inspire participants of all ages in developing their archery skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in sports coaching, teaching, or related physical activities, with a focus on safety, skill development, and fostering a positive environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, promoting physical activity, discipline, and confidence among students.

The position is paid and suitable for individuals with relevant experience in sports, martial arts, or childcare.

• Instruct participants on proper archery techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use.
• Develop lesson plans tailored to different skill levels and age groups.
• Monitor and ensure safety during all activities, enforcing rules and behavior management strategies.
• Provide guidance and encouragement to foster a supportive learning environment.
• Organize group activities, competitions, and skill-building exercises.
• Maintain equipment and ensure the cleanliness of the archery range.
• Collaborate with other instructors or staff to coordinate programs and events.
• Adapt instruction methods to accommodate children or students with special needs when necessary.

• Prior experience in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or martial arts such as Karate, Judo, or Climbing is highly desirable.
• Experience working with children or students in educational or recreational settings.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain discipline and engagement.
• Background in lifeguard experience, swimming, cheerleading, basketball, or health club/gym environments is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and instruct diverse groups of participants.
• Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred but not required.
• Passion for promoting physical activity and fostering a safe, inclusive environment for learners.
