Medical Training Institute New York is currently recruiting for an experienced Adjunct faculty member in the Pharmacy Technician Program that exhibits strong communication skills with the willingness to train students to become Certified Pharmacy Program.
Candidates must have experience teaching in a classroom or/and in a synchronous environment, as well as have a minimum of 2 years in Pharmacy Practice.
This is a part‑time teaching position to begin immediately and will provide instruction in the classroom and online with a laboratory setting. You should be fully committed to the Mission and Values of the Medical Training Institute of Orlando.
Job Summary- Teaches, evaluates and supervises students during the classroom, Lab, and examination periods on a part‑time basis.
- Initiates, facilitates, and moderates classroom discussions.
- Prepares course materials, such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.
- Copies and distributes classroom materials.
- Informs students of the procedures for completing and submitting classwork.
- Returns assignments to students in accordance with established deadlines.
- Supervises students' fieldwork, internship, and research work.
- Schedules and maintains regular office hours to meet with students.
- Prepares and/or proctors examinations.
- Evaluates and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
- Prepares and delivers lectures to students on relevant topics.
- Collaborates with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.
- Advises students on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues.
- Lesson Plans, evaluates and revises curricula, course content, course materials, and methods of instruction.

- Education:
Pharmacist degree ( Pharm
D preferred) in a field related to course instruction - Experience:
Successful completion of applicable licenses, professional credentials, or certifications with at least five years of experience
