iBridge Education is seeking an experienced Lead College Admissions Counselor/Strategist to provide personalized, one-on-one comprehensive college advising. This role involves guiding students through course selection, summer planning, timeline management, extracurricular activities, and the entire college application process.

Responsibilities
  • Provide overall tailored college planning and strategy for personalized, one-on-one comprehensive college advising, covering aspects such as course selection, summer plans, timeline planning, and extracurricular activities.
  • Passionate about guiding and cultivating students’ personal development and profile building.
  • Act as a valuable resource for students, providing guidance on academic trajectories and plans.
  • Track, evaluate, and report on student performance in relation to their summer plans and extracurricular activities.
  • Provide guidance to students throughout the entire college application process, including essay brainstorming and application package review.
  • Participate in preparing students for college interviews.
Qualifications
  • Must have at least 5-7 years of college counseling experience for high school students, including experience as an independent counsel, college counseling professional in a business setting, or a US high school college counselor.
  • Must have prior experience as an undergraduate admissions officer or interviewer at Ivy League universities.
  • Bachelor's degree from a top university or liberal arts college in the US is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a high school teacher is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to establish rapport with students and parents.
  • Membership in IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association) preferred.
