Art Teacher (K-5)

Help young artists create, explore, and experience true WOW moments.

We're looking for passionate, creative art teachers to lead our popular K-5 classes and bring big ideas to young imaginations. If you love working with kids, enjoy experimenting across media, and believe art should be fun, contemporary, and meaningful-you'll feel right at home at One River.

What You'll Do

* Teach engaging weekly art classes that inspire curiosity, confidence, and creativity

* Work across a range of media including painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, mixed media, and 3D projects

* Create joyful, memorable experiences that make students excited to come back to the studio

* Build strong connections with students and families through thoughtful communication and care

Who You Are

* An experienced art educator (1+ year teaching experience) with a broad technical foundation

* Comfortable teaching multiple mediums and encouraging creative exploration

* Fun, engaging, and student-centered in your teaching style

* A strong communicator who enjoys working with kids, families, and fellow teachers

* Aligned with One River's mission to transform art education

* Live within an easy commuting distance of the school

Education

* BFA or BS in Art Education required

* MFA or Master's in Art Education a big plus
