The Department of Materials Design & Innovation seeks applicants for a chaired faculty position as Empire Innovation Professor in Microelectronics
. Appointment will be made at the Associate or Full Professor rank in the field of materials discovery and design for microelectronic applications.
Required research expertise in experimental techniques, electron microscopy, and atom probe tomography is advantageous.

Minimum Qualifications- Doctoral degree in Materials Science or related fields is required.
- Strong record of scholarly accomplishments, teaching experience, and an externally funded research program.
Ph.D. with a strong research record in microelectronics, materials discovery, and design.
Physical DemandsPhysical demands of the position include work in a laboratory setting.
