This is a full-time, on-site role in Roslyn, NY, for a Social Studies Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and thoughtfully planned social studies lessons, with a focus on middle school instruction. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula, planning world history and social studies lessons, and creating an inclusive and dynamic classroom environment to facilitate student success.

Additional responsibilities include assessing student learning and collaborating with faculty for interdisciplinary teaching approaches.

• Proficiency in teaching Social Studies and Middle School education
• Experience and skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
• Strong knowledge of US History and the ability to engage students in global perspectives
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive educational environment
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Studies, History, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Prior teaching experience in a middle school educational setting is a plus
