Location: New York
Typical Work Activities (include, but not limited to):
- Support students with special needs, including helping with communication and behavioral strategies
- Assist the teacher with preparing materials and resources for lessons
- Supervise students during class activities, breaks, and lunch
- Help maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
- Assist with classroom management
- Help set up, clean, and organize classroom materials and spaces
- Provide support to students who may need assistance with activities of daily living (toileting, feeding, hygiene, lifting)
- Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher
- Salary: $21.63/hour
- 10-month position
