The School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University in the City of New York invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track,renewableposition of Lecturer in Discipline, to begin July 1, 2026.
Teaching ResponsibilitiesTeach six full-semester courses. Ten half courses (equivalent to five full courses) will be in the MIA and MPA politics core curriculum and three discussion sections (equivalent to one full course) will be in the course 'Inside the Situation Room'.
QualificationsCandidates must have a demonstrated record of accomplishment in teaching public policy students in comparative politics, American politics, international relations, and international security. In addition, the incumbent will have a demonstrated record of successful academic administration, including coordinating with a variety of university offices (registration, student affairs, and academic affairs). Ph.D. required at the time of appointment.
