• Structure a learning environment that promotes child health and safety.
• Plan and lead classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children.
• Actively engage with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child’s program.
• Implement a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including the incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate opportunities.
• Create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students that is conducive to learning.
• Support implementation of behavior plans and/or IFSP/IEP goals, as appropriate.

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
• NYS Teacher Certificate Birth-Grade 2 or Equivalent
