- Facilitate individual and small-group coaching conversations that translate student objectives into reliable action and quantifiable advancement
- Leverage analytics and personal aspirations to pinpoint barriers and design tailored, high-expectation motivation strategies
- Lead intensive life-skills workshops grounded in authentic narrative, guided reflection, and practical implementation, followed by competency assessment
- Conduct daily opening routines that establish culture, communicate high standards, and focus students before work begins
- Build trusted mentoring connections with students and their families through unwavering standards, dependability, and thoughtful decision-making
- Deliver traditional classroom instruction, lectures, or academic tutoring
- Develop curricula, write lesson plans, or evaluate student assignments
- Supervise staff, oversee campus logistics, or assume broader administrative responsibilities
- Compromise standards in exchange for immediate cooperation or superficial gains
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that students at Alpha's most rigorous campuses remain intensely motivated and demonstrate continuous progress and mastery of life skills through elite, standards-driven coaching.
Basic Requirements- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline
- A minimum of one verifiable elite marker (competitive athletics, academic distinction, professional accomplishment, or elite-level coaching)
- Documented experience in direct mentoring, coaching, or leadership roles that produced measurable improvements in others' performance
- Proven ability to thrive in high-accountability settings with explicit expectations and consistent execution
- Demonstrated capacity to facilitate compelling, high-rigor group workshops and provide one-on-one coaching with mature judgment
- Commitment to full-time, in-person work at an Alpha campus located in San Francisco, CA;
Santa Barbara, CA; or New York City, NY - Authorization to work legally in the United States
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying data and analytics to inform coaching strategies and maintain accountability
- Prior experience in highly selective organizations, high-growth startups, or elite athletic environments with rigorous performance cultures

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
