The Auburn Enlarged City School District is seeking a NYSED certified Career & Technical Education (CTE) candidate to lead a classroom at Auburn Junior High School. The starting salary ranges from $55,400 (with no master s degree) to $57,241 (with master s degree). Additional compensation will be given for additional graduate credit hours beyond the master s degree. This will be a full‑time position for the 2026-27 school year.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated CTE teacher to deliver engaging instruction to middle school students. This position provides an exciting opportunity to introduce students to foundational concepts in career pathways and technical fields in alignment with New York State’s middle‑level CTE requirements.

- Computer Science/Technology
- Health Sciences
- Trade & Technical Titles
- Prior experience working with middle‑level students
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for career readiness and real‑world application
- Familiarity with NYSED CTE standards and middle‑level requirements
- Delivering standards‑based instruction aligned with NYSED CTE frameworks
- Designing hands‑on, exploratory learning experiences that engage middle school students
- Collaborating with colleagues to support career exploration and cross‑curricular integration
- Using a variety of instructional strategies and formative assessment tools
- Supporting a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
- Contributing to curriculum development and school‑wide CTE initiatives
