• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in math, ELA, or SAT prep
• Experience with K-12 ELA/Math standards
• Teaching license preferred but not required
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo1:1
• Currently located in the United States or Canada

• Available between 6-9 AM EST or 3-10 PM EST on Monday through Friday or during the weekends
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability on a weekly basis
• Access to a private and quiet location

• Patient – Take the time to ensure students understand complex subjects at the required speed
• Adaptive – Tailor lessons and environment to each individual student’s needs and learning capabilities
• Considerate – Use emotional intelligence to lift students’ confidence when they feel discouraged
• Enthusiastic – Bring contagious energy to create a fun learning environment
• Reliable – Come to class on time, prepared, and ready to tackle students’ needs
