The Churchill School & Center, a K-12 school for students with language-based learning disabilities, is seeking passionate, experienced coaches to lead our high school and middle school teams during the 2025 winter season, which runs from March 9th through May 8th school year.
Available coaching positions are for the following sports:
- Varsity Tennis Head Coach
- Demonstrate commitment to Churchill’s mission and core values
- Embrace and model Churchill’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Teach and develop fundamental skills for players at all levels.
- Attend and manage the scheduled number of games and practices for the season
- Develop a program plan for the season that incorporates goals, sequential skill development, and game plans
- Collect, store, and maintain equipment during and after practices and games.
The ideal candidate will have...
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with student-athletes, parents, faculty, and staff
- Current Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification, or ability to obtain certification prior to the season
- In-depth knowledge of the sport’s rules, strategies, and regulations
- Demonstrated enthusiasm, commitment, and passion for coaching
- Prior coaching and/or competitive playing experience preferred
- Availability between approximately 2:30 PM and 6:30 PM, depending on team schedule
- $5,000- 7,000 commensurate with experience and position
