Overview
Job Summary:
We’re looking for motivated and reliable SAT tutors for Math and English to work with high school students in a supportive, structured environment. This is a great opportunity for college students with prior tutoring experience who enjoy teaching and want a flexible weekend role. Tutors are provided with lesson plans and materials—your job is to teach clearly, engage students, and help them improve their scores and confidence.
- Saturdays: 4 hours.
- Sundays: 4 hours.
- Part-time, in-person (Queens, NYC).
- Lead small-group SAT Math or English tutoring sessions.
- Explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
- Track basic attendance and student progress.
- Create a positive, focused classroom environment.
- Strong understanding of SAT Math and/or English.
- Prior tutoring experience (SAT, Regents, AP, or similar preferred).
- Clear communication and presentation skills.
- Responsible, punctual, and comfortable working with students.
- College students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Consistent weekend hours.
- Structured curriculum (no lesson planning required).
