Position Title Postdoctoral Associate (Teaching Fellow), Philosophy
A Postdoctoral Associate (Teaching Fellow) position is available in the Department of Philosophy at the University s position will be supported by the Department of Education Grant P116J250119 “From Campus to Community:
Civil Discourse as a Catalyst for Local Civic Renewal.” Successful applicants will be expected to contribute to the success of our funded project.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Teaching:
Teach three courses a year on topics related to the grant (social and political philosophy, social epistemology, philosophy of science) as well as participate in other pedagogical activities associated with the grant (ethics bowl, civil discourse ambassadors program, etc.). - Service:
Contributing to the success of our community engagement work, as well as assisting with our speaker series and workshops.
