St. George Early Learning Center, formerly known as Alwayz 1.2.3 Early Learning Center, is a licensed early childhood education program located in Staten Island, NY. We provide care and education for children ages 1–3, focusing on creating a warm, safe, and nurturing environment. Our programs emphasize play-based, developmentally appropriate experiences that foster early milestones, social-emotional growth, and language development. As proud providers of NYC 3-K for All, we aim to build a strong foundation for each child’s lifelong learning journey by partnering with families to nurture curiosity, confidence, and a sense of community.

Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time position based in Staten Island, NY, for a Toddler Group Teacher. The teacher will design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, create a safe and engaging learning environment, and foster the educational and social development of toddlers. Daily tasks include leading group activities, supervising children during play, conducting developmental observations, and collaborating with team members and families to support children's growth.

The teacher will also participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Lesson Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum
  • Strong foundation in Education with a focus on early childhood development
  • Effective Communication skills to engage with children, families, and team members
  • Experience in Teaching and guiding young children in both structured and play-based activities
  • Ability to participate in Training and professional development opportunities
  • Early Childhood Education certification or comparable qualifications (e.g., CDA or degree in related field)
  • Passion for fostering curiosity, social-emotional growth, and development in young learners
