ResponsibilitiesWe are currently recruiting a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to teach in the PMHNP specialty DNP program as well as serve as Assistant Program Director. The incoming faculty will teach and maintain an active clinical practice, taking advantage of our resource allocation plan (percentage of time for teaching & practice is individually determined). The combination of teaching & practice is a fundamental component of our educational mission.
Qualifications- Successful candidates will have a doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, DNSc, DrPH, EdD) from a recognized institution of higher education.
- A minimum of two (2) years of practice experience and an active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license and certification are required.
- The selected incumbent will have exemplary communication skills.
- Previous experience as a clinical or didactic instructor and previous experience in leadership is highly preferred.
