Position:
High School Biology / Non-Regents Chemistry Teacher. Moore Catholic High School is seeking a dedicated and engaging educator to teach Biology and Non-Regents Chemistry at the high school level. The ideal candidate will foster a dynamic, student-centered classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong foundation in the sciences.
- Teach Biology and Non-Regents Chemistry courses
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Collaborate with faculty to support student growth and school initiatives
- Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- NYS teaching certification (or working toward certification)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to the mission of Catholic education
Compensation based on education and experience, preference given to candidates with advanced degrees. $55,.
