Position
The Wappingers Central School District is seeking candidates for an anticipated Special Education (Secondary) Teacher position effective September 2, 2026. This is a full‑time, probationary, tenure‑track position.
Requirements- Valid NYSED teaching certificate(s); certificate must be Students With Disabilities (7‑12 or All Grades).
- Transcripts and three letters of recommendation bearing the writers' signatures, dated within the last 18 months.
- Letters of recommendation must NOT be written by a current Wappingers Central School District employee.
- Preparation to provide additional documents to complete a candidate folder.
- Position location is yet to be determined.
