About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced teacher to join our staff for the school year. As a General Studies Morah for our Pre1A, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background, excellent teaching skills, and a passion for fostering academic excellence and personal growth.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our Pre1A students
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with state standards and school goals
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and develop strategies to support student achievement
Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed of student progress and involve them in their child's educational journey
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education or related field
1 year of teaching experience, with a focus on Pre1A
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administer to diverse learning needs
Strong commitment to the values and mission of Yeshiva Ketana of Queens
