Annual Security Report Notice

The report contains information on security policies as well as crime and fire statistics for the University.

The Tour Guide program is a diverse and competitive program seeking only to hire the best undergraduate student representatives of Pace University. We strive to hire students with diverse academic, professional, and extra-curricular experiences to reflect the varied opportunities that Pace University has to offer. Most importantly, we hire students that love to talk about their positive experiences as Pace University students.

In doing so, they support the efforts of the Admission department in attracting, recruiting, and enrolling a talented and diverse group of future first-year and transfer students.

Work shifts are between the hours of 9-5, Monday - Friday and Saturday 9-1. Exact schedule to be determined with supervisor; no more than 20 hours per week when school is in session and no more than 35 hours per week during breaks.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Weekly campus tours both in-person and virtually for prospective students and their guests

* Weekly Saturday campus tours both in-person and virtually for prospective students and their guests

* Mandatory participation in special events (Open House, Pace Bound, etc.) both in-person and virtually

* Calling prospective students to invite them to events and aid in their admission process

* Providing administrative support to the Welcome Center and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions

Work shifts are in two or four hour increments during 9-5, Monday - Friday and Saturday 9-1. Exact schedule to be determined with supervisor; no more than 20 hours per week when school is in session and no more than 35 hours per week during breaks.

The ideal candidate for this position meets the following criteria:

* Student is a full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate student

* Student has a GPA of 2.7 or higher

* Student is in good judicial standing with the Office of Student Life

* Student has strong customer service, organizational, and communication/public speaking skills

* Student is personable and outgoing in both intimate and large-group settings, both in person as well as through virtual communications such as Zoom

* Student is comfortable conversing with strangers

* Student is both independently motivated as well as a team player

* Student has a positive outlook on Pace University
