Opportunity Overview:
Serve in a ministry in Southeast Asia and help encourage the spiritual and holistic development of Muslim children, parents, family members! Participate in various activities, including teaching life skills, playing sports, and building relationships with families. Come alongside the team in development or livelihood programs and help ensure the community members have continuity of follow up. Be available for some tutorial programs for students as needed.

Southeast Asia
Terms: Long-Term (3+ years), Mid-Term (1 - 3 years), Short-Term (12 weeks - 1 year)
Responsibilities:- Participate in after-school computer help.
- Engage in sports activities with children.
- Follow up on livelihood programs, such as visiting FAITH gardens and chicken projects.
- Learn the local language to effectively communicate.
- Participate in Discovery Bible Studies.
- Reach out to the families of the children, including fathers and mothers (whole family approach).
- Work with the team to support tutorial needs in the communities (Oral English, after-school studies, literacy for adults).
- Follow up with families of scholars in the community through site visits.
- Participate in agricultural livelihood programs and weekly health outreach.
- Must be a college student or older.
- Must be able to communicate in the local dialect.
- Experience in youth ministry, teaching, or working with children and families is beneficial but not required.
- If interested in community development, some prior experience in development, livelihood, and community organizing is helpful.
