Library Internship at Rockefeller University

Rockefeller University just posted an internship opportunity at the Rita & Frits Markus Library. If you haven’t committed to an internship for this fall and winter, please consider joining our library team! This is an in‑person internship, and not a remote work. We don’t offer relocation assistance for this position, unfortunately.

Main tasks are in the collection management including the following.

• Assist in redesigning and reorganizing the library’s Coffee Lounge.
• Update and reorganize the Recreational Reading Collection, Reference Collection, Writing Guide Collection, and other small collections of books. (This task includes physically moving and reorganizing books, copy cataloging, and recommending purchases for additional resources. )
• Shift and reorganize our Graduate Theses Collection (This task includes inventory of physical items for both bound copies and digital copies, moving and organizing physical collections, and assisting in creating a Special Collection within the Graduate Theses Collection, both in physical location and digitally)
